This study investigated the effect of vitamin E delta-tocotrienol and its metabolite delta-tocotrienol-13-carboxychromanol on gut microbiota in mice under conditions that promote colitis-associated colorectal cancer. We extracted DNA from mouse fecal samples, amplified the V3-V4 region of 16S rRNA gene through polymerase chain reaction, and performed pair-end amplicon sequencing using Illumina MiSeq 2*250bp.
