We have systematically studied the contribution of the histone acetyltransferase MOF for Drosophila embryos development characterizing the expression changes at st5, st7 and st15 in male and female embryos. Additionally, we studied the contribution of the histone acetyltransferase MOF for the transcription of male S2 cells. Single embryo mRNA seq was performed for st5 and st7 embryos. The gender of embryos was identified post-sequencing using the expression pattern of msl-2, sxl, tra and tra2 genes. St15 embryo male and female were separated by Sxl-GFP marker. 25 embryos were pooled for each replicate.
