Sequencing of tumor educated platelets

Platelets can alter their transcriptome profile upon tumor challenge, but it is under debate how platelets express tumor signatures and if their RNA profile changes upon metastasis. We subcutaneously injected mice with T241 fibrosarcoma or B16F10 melanoma and collected blood platelets after approximately three weeks.We report RNA sequencing data for murine blood platelet samples and tumor tissues. This includes tumor educated platelet (TEP) samples from T241 fibrosarcoma and B16F10 melanoma bearing mice. In addition, we report RNA-sequencing data of blood platelets from corresponding non-tumor bearing control animals. In order to study the effect of thrombin signaling on TEPs we collected blood platelets and tumor tissue from C57BL/6J, P2/C57/6NJ, TMPro, TMPro/PAR4-/- and TMPro/PAR1 R41Q animals. In order to assess the education of blood platelets we also report RNA-sequencing data for tumor tissue from murine T241 fibrasarcoma and B16F10 melanoma.
