资源简介:
This study explores how impulsivity and the pervasive nature of IoT notifications contribute to smartphone and social media addiction. Leveraging a synthetic dataset of 500 users across diverse demographics, it models the relationship between behavioral traits—such as impulsivity and FoMO—and environmental triggers like notification frequency. Results show strong correlations between device use, impulsivity, and addiction severity, with significant predictive power. These findings highlight the need for thoughtful digital design, therapeutic interventions, and policy frameworks to address the growing public health concern of tech-induced behavioral dependency.
