The mRNA sequencing raw reads for litchi leaves both infected and mock with Colletotrichum gloeosporioides

The samples were the leaves of litchi cultivars Haiken 5 and Nongmei 5 hao. The leaves were stab inoculated with Colletotrichum gloeosporioides. The mock leaves were inoculated with sterile distilled water. The samples were collected from leaves within a diameter of 1 cm around the inoculation spot (including the inoculation spot) at 0, 6 and 24 hours post-inoculation. RNA was collected from three biological replicates of infected and mock inoculated, and each biological replicate including 20 inoculated leaves disk. For the library preparation, the mRNA was purified and cDNA was synthesized. The library preparations were sequenced on an Illumina Novaseq platform.
