Data from: Importance of Atmospheric Deposition Patterns, Uncertainty and Trends on Oligotrophic Ocean Nutrient and Carbon Cycling
收藏资源简介:
Decadal external nitrogen supply fields from the study "Importance of Atmospheric Deposition Patterns, Uncertainty and Trends on Oligotrophic Ocean Nutrient and Carbon Cycling" are provided here. The dataset contains gridded (2° latitude × 2.5° longitude) fields for the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s, including: NFIX: Decadal mean nitrogen fixation rates (mmol N m⁻² yr⁻¹) estimated from CESM2-derived soluble iron deposition and GEOS-Chem-derived inorganic nitrogen deposition.NDEP: Decadal mean inorganic nitrogen deposition rates (mmol N m⁻² yr⁻¹) from GEOS-Chem simulations.NVER: Climatological vertical nitrogen supply (mmol N m⁻² yr⁻¹) calculated based on GLODAPv2 nitrate concentration.EP: Decadal mean export production at 100 m depth based on CESM2-POP2 particulate organic carbon flux (g C m⁻² yr⁻¹).NPP: Climatological net primary production (g C m⁻² yr⁻¹) from VGPM and CbPM2 satellite-based products. Decades are represented by the central year of each period (1985, 1995, 2005, 2015). All data fields follow CF-1.9 conventions.
