Correlations between meteorological variables and dengue outbreaks in Noumea.

Monthly and quarterly meteorological data measured from September (year y-1) to April (year y), i.e. four months before or after the outbreak onset, were analyzed from 1971 to 2010 in Noumea. For each family of meteorological variables, the three variables most correlated with the occurrence of dengue outbreaks are presented, p-valueMonthly and quarterly parameters were named “parameter_month”, and “parameter_first letter of each month of the quarter”, respectively. Number of days with a parameter over a threshold x were named NOD_parameter_threshold x.
