Opinion greatest potential OTT platform for films in Saudi Arabia 2019, by platform

According to a 2019 survey conducted on the film making industry in Saudi Arabia, Netflix and YouTube held the greatest potential for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's films, as stated by respectively 50 and 39 percent of respondents. In comparison, only four percent of respondents believed that Shahid by MBC, an over-the-top (OTT) platform for Arabic content, would offer the greatest opportunity for the country's domestic film sector.
