The KRAS oncogene encodes two splice variants, KRAS4A and KRAS4B. KRAS4B, the more abundantly expressed isoform, has traditionally been recognized as the dominant player in cancer progression, while the function of KRAS4A has remained ambiguous. Here, we aim to unravel the specific functions of these isoforms in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
