Business Improvement District

Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) are adopted by City Ordinance and guided by sections of the Spokane Municipal Code. These districts generally include the assessment of dues or fees paid by property owners to the BID fund, which are then used for the provision of certain programs that foster greater success for local businesses and services as well as (sometimes) the planning, construction, and maintenance of certain public improvements and infrastructure.商业改善区（Business Improvement Districts，BIDs）由城市条例设立，并受《斯波坎市法典》相关条款规制。此类区域通常会向物业业主征收会费或专项费用，归集至BID专项基金；该基金将用于支持各类项目开展，以助力本地商户与公共服务机构提升运营成效，部分情况下还可用于部分公共改善工程及基础设施的规划、建设与维护。
