Cells were treated +/- 1.7uM bovine insulin then mock- or WNV-infected for 8 h. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for S2 cells +/- insulin +/- WNV infection. Gene expression was normalized to S2 cells not receiving insulin nor WNV.
