Datasets of Christmas tree traits and susceptibility to Neonectria neomacrospora results collected in a progeny test of Nordmann fir in Denmark

Dataset - "christmas_traits.csv", include the results of Christmas tree traits measured on 2413 trees in a progeny trial on Fyn island, Denmark, about 12 km south-east of Odense city. The following is the details for the included traits: xmas: Christmas tree score 1-9, measured at year 2018 flushing score: 0-7, measured at year 2017 no_buds: The number of buds on the leading shoot, without counting the terminal bud, measured at year 2016 H_19: Total tree height measured at 2019, measured at year 2018 density: Density score of trees from 1 to 9, measured at year 2018 Dataset- "Neonectria_data.csv", include the results of the artificial inoculation test on 1176 full-sib offspring at year 2017. The length of damaged tissue in cm (lesion length) under bark was used as an indication of the susceptibility to Neonectria neomacrospora.
