Here, we present the original data for the paper "Key Structural Factors Governing the Photodynamic Activity of Phthalocyanines" prepared by Magdalena Kozlikova, Mary Angelia Alfred, Miloslav Machacek, Fabienne Dumoulin, Andrés de la Es-cosura, Tomasz Goslinski, Marie Halaskova, Jian-Dong Huang, Mei-Rong Ke, Saad Makhseed, Dariusz T. Mlynarczyk, Dennis K. P. Ng, Tomás Torres, Roy C. H. Wong, Petr Zimcik and Veronika Novakova. The file "1uM-Abs and Em.xlsx" provides the original data for absorption and emission spectra of all compounds involved in the study in different solvents (DMF, water, PBS) at concentration of 1 uM. The file "BSA-Abs and Em.xlsx" provides the original data for dependance of absorption and emission spectra of studied compounds (c(Pc) = 1 uM) on the concentration of BSA in solution.The file "Cytotoxicity experiments" provides original data for the evaluation of photodynamic activity on three malignant cell lines HeLa, MCF-7 and SK-MEL-28.
