METHODS OF SOCIAL ADAPTATION OF CHILDREN WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

This article provides a detailed, scientifically grounded analysis of social adaptation methods for children with developmental disorders (including disabilities in speech, hearing, vision, cognitive or physical development). Through literature review, research methodology, in-depth analysis, and findings, it highlights the roles of family, educators, peers, and special correction approaches within inclusive education settings. The results confirm that successful social adaptation is achieved through an individualized approach, emotional support, group play, instruction through visuals and play, family–teacher collaboration, and environmental accommodation. This process enhances the child’s self-confidence, develops peer relationships, and promotes integration into society. The article offers practical recommendations for early childhood education practitioners and families, including emphasis on technologies used in inclusive groups.
