Gene expression in the liver and lungs of healthy, SIV-infected and ART-treated rhesus macaques

Herein, we used rhesus macaques (RMs) infected with SIVmac251 to analyze the transcriptomic profiles of the liver and lungs of untreated and early antiretroviral therapy (ART)-treated RMs, compared to healthy uninfected RMs. RNA sequencing was performed in total liver and lung cells from healthy uninfected (n=3), high viremic SIVmac251-infected (n=4), low viremic SIVmac51-infected (n=4) and ART-treated (n=3) rhesus macaques using NovaSeq 6000 flowcell S1 at the Next-Generation Sequencing Platform, Genomics Center (CHU de Québec-Université Laval Research Center, Québec City, Canada).
