The grid-forming and fault ride-through (FRT) test dataset for photovoltaic (PV) inverters encompasses simulation data under varying grid strengths, alongside time-synchronized measurements including three-phase voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, and system frequency. These measurements are collected when the inverter operates under scenarios of zero-voltage ride-through (ZVRT), low-voltage ride-through (LVRT), continuous low-voltage ride-through, continuous high-low voltage ride-through, as well as under grid conditions with short circuit ratio (SCR) equal to 1.1 and 20 respectively. All data originates from on-site tests conducted by a third-party testing organization, Xuchang Kaipu Testing Institute Co., Ltd. The test instruments utilized are the power analyzer PA8006 and the oscillographic recorder DL950. The two test scenarios with SCR=1.1 and SCR=20 employ the PA8006 power analyzer for data acquisition, with a sampling frequency of 5 Hz. For tests simulating grid faults, the DL950 oscillographic recorder is used to display and record real-time waveforms, operating at a sampling frequency of 200 MHz. The core focus of this dataset is to verify that the inverter can operate stably without oscillation or instability under both strong (SCR=20) and weak (SCR=1.1) grid conditions, as well as during the aforementioned fault ride-through processes. This demonstrates that the inverter meets the specified requirement of grid SCR adaptability ranging from 1.1 to 20, and possesses the capabilities of zero-voltage ride-through and continuous high-low voltage ride-through. The total size of this dataset is approximately 1.8 GB.
