Supplementary Materials for Chapter 11: VR in ELE – Microvideos, Questionnaires & Tests

This dataset contains six supplementary materials associated with the chapter “Virtual Reality and the Teaching of Spanish to Chinese-speaking Learners: A Hybrid Pedagogical Model (CLI)”, accepted for publication in the volume Routledge Advances in Spanish Language Teaching. The materials include: Annex 1. Pre-learning questionnaire (15 items, Cultural Knowledge, Linguistic Knowledge, Informatics Competence). Annex 2. Post-learning questionnaire (25 items, extended dimensions including Autonomy and Emotions). Annex 3. Vocabulary test (40 Spanish terms related to Chinese culture). Annex 4. Cultural knowledge test (20 multiple-choice questions). Annex 5. Sample student microvideos (approx. 3 minutes each, produced with CapCut, Dream Factory, iFLYTEK, ChatGPT, Kling AI). Annex 6. Selected student reflections and feedback (qualitative data). The dataset is intended to provide transparency, reproducibility, and further insight into the methodology and results presented in the chapter. It may be used for academic reference, replication studies, or as supplementary teaching material in the field of technology-enhanced language learning. These supplementary materials are associated with the forthcoming monograph Teaching Spanish to Chinese-Speaking Learners (Routledge Advances in Spanish Language Teaching).
