Physical exercise and problematic smartphone use among Chinese adolescents

This dataset is derived from a cross-sectional psychological survey conducted in Sichuan Province, China, in May 2024. The data were collected by cluster random sampling method, covering 34 primary and secondary school students (age range 10-19 years old) in Sichuan Province. The survey process is carried out by professionals in the field of mental health (psychiatrists, graduate and undergraduate) and an anonymous questionnaire is administered after signing the informed consent form. 10046 questionnaires were originally collected.
