OCS — Ontology for Computational Sociology (OWL release)
收藏资源简介:
The Ontology for Computational Sociology (OCS) is an OWL 2 ontology providing a foundational, machine-actionable vocabulary for general sociology, aligned under Basic Formal Ontology (BFO) 2020. This record contains the ontology as an RDF/XML .owl file. OCS comprises 701 classes (665 sociological domain classes and 36 inherited from BFO 2020), 254 object properties, 78 data properties, and 201 n-ary causal relations expressed by reifying collective causal events as first-class individuals. The domain is partitioned under six BFO top-level categories: sociological material entities, sociological qualities, concepts and theories, social roles, dispositions, and social processes. OCS is, to the author's knowledge, the first general-coverage foundational ontology of sociology aligned with BFO 2020. It is released under CC BY 4.0 and is also available on the NCBO BioPortal.
