Microbiome profiling of coral garden species from the NE Atlantic and responses to aquarium keeping

This project investigates the bacterial microbiomes associated with 13 coral garden species collected from Cape St. Vincent (SW Portugal), as well as microbiome shifts under short- and long-term aquarium maintenance. Full-length 16S rRNA gene amplicons were sequenced using Oxford Nanopore MinION technology.
