Expression data from D. melanogaster intestinal stem cell with suppression of Imd in progenitors

We used RNA-seq to examine transcriptional profiles of midgut progenitor cells with suppression of Imd in progenitors. We found significant differences between the contributions of progenitor IMD to intestinal homeostasis. Genotype control flies and flies with Imd inhibition were raised on regular food (Bloomington standard food) for 10 days at 29C after eclosion. Guts were dissected for RNA extraction and total RNA, in triplicate, sent to Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute for library construction and sequencing.
