The main concern of the Hydrogeological Maps i.M. 1 : 50 000 is the representation
the groundwater flow and quality and the protective function of the
Groundwater cover as well as the depth and distribution of aquifers
and according to the hydraulic connections between the aquifers
their merging into aquifer complexes.

1:50000比例尺水文地质图的核心表征内容涵盖地下水流与水质、地下水覆盖层的防护功能，以及含水层的埋藏深度与分布范围；同时依据含水层间的水力联系，阐明其聚合形成的含水层综合体。
