To investegate how IL6 regulates human monocyte transcriptional profiles, we stimulated primary human monocytes in vitro with IL6 and IL6R. Primary human monocytes from five different donors were stimulated with either media alone (PRMI1640 plus 10% HI FBS) or a combination of media, 10ng/ml IL6, and 18.7ng/ml IL6R for 24 hours.
