This repository contains relevant data files and source code to reproduce the experimental evaluation of the paper:
Ulrich Bauer, Tamal Dey, Michael Kerber, Florian Russold, Matthias Soels: Fast free resolutions of bifiltered chain complexes. International Symposium on Computational Geometry 2026.
In particular, it contains scripts to generate deg-Rips and other multi-critical bifiltrations of several sizes. It does not contain the off models used in the experiments because of licensing issues. See the README.txt file in the repository for further details.
Note: The repository is released under CC-BY 4.0. However, the folders "deg_rips", "function_delaunay" and "multi_critical" contain software packages that are published under the LGPL-3.0 license. The packages "deg_rips" and "function_delaunay" are mostly included for convenience and easier reproducibility. The newest versions are available at

respectively. The "multi-critical" package is a preliminary version of the one that got released at
https://bitbucket.org/mkerber/multi_critical/src/main/
However, some parts of the software have been renamed, and the scripts in the "multi_critical_benchmarks" folder are not compatible with that released software. Nevertheless, the algorithms in both versions are identical and there is no reason to assume a difference in performance.
