Oxyceros horridus, complete chloroplast genome

Oxyceros horridus Lour. is used as an ornamental plant and has medicinal properties. This plant has been widely used in various traditional medicines in Southeast Asia, such as for tendon pain relief and to improve blood circulation. However, the chloroplast (cp) genome of O. horridus has not been studied. In this study, we assembled and characterized the complete cp genome O. horridus which is the first cp genome in Oxyceros genus.
