This FAIRsharing record describes: The University College London (UCL) Research Data Policy 2024 governs the way staff and students at the university manage data created or assembled during the course of their research. It defines what constitutes 'research data' and 'research data management', setting out the intention that data created as part of the research process are FAIR - Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable. The Policy sets out a number of statements defining how data should be managed, and indicates the responsibilities of different groups of people within the university, including those of supervisors, heads of department, UCL Library Services, and UCL's centre for Advanced Research Computing (ARC).
