资源简介:
The survey aimed to shed light on the relationship between living and working conditions for young adults with physical disabilities on one hand, and social isolation and quality of life on the other. Questionnaire data were collected from the Health Survey in Nord-Trøndelag, which covered, among other things, disability, living and working conditions, and quality of life, i.e., subjectively experienced and self-reported satisfaction and social isolation. The second phase of the survey included more extensive interviews with a sample of disabled individuals. These data provide thorough information on the aspects intended to be illuminated, including perceived opportunities and desires for employment and living conditions, as well as experienced barriers, isolation, and exclusion. The interview survey was conducted among disabled individuals aged 20-30, residing in Nord-Trøndelag, and receiving disability benefits and/or basic benefits and/or attendance benefits as of January 1, 1986. Of the 195 individuals interviewed, 106 participated in the Health Survey. A linked dataset from these two sources has been prepared.
