Improving DevOps Courses with Challenges and Recommendations in DevOps Education

This study wants to check the usefulness of the challenges and the recommendations on DevOps Education presented by the Improve software to professors in the contextof their DevOps courses. Claes Wohlin, Höst, and Henningsson 2003 stated that Empirical Studies in software engineering plan and carry out investigations and collect relevant data. Then, we have the data analysis and discussion. We do these steps using scientific methods. To address our aim, we applied an Empirical Study with eleven selected professors. They did a practical session with Improve, complemented by a cross-sectional interview. The practical session exposes the challenges and the recommendations on DevOps Education collected in this thesis through the tool. The interview-based research is appropriate for gathering in-depth descriptions of experiences, observations, and assessments.
