Building Dibharra cultural connection. Site prep, pest control, seed collection

This project will contribute toward the Gynburra Narungga Men's Group's vision of 'Healing Dibharra'.

Green Army participants will monitor the establishment of existing revegetation, collect seeds, manage the seed orchard, start this yearÍs propagation, work to protect surrounding sites of cultural significance and undertake pest plant or animal management.

This will be done alongside a range of stakeholders, including Conservation Volunteers Australia, government agency staff, not-for-profit organisations, conservation contractors.
A Narungga welcome will be held to welcome the participants to the site. Connection will be fostered between Indigenous and non-Indigenous stakeholders and participants, to ensure long-term conservation and social outcomes.
