Metagenomic sequencing of a single Paracatenula sp. standrea specimen. Paracatenula sp. santandrea metagenome

Paracatenuls is a genus of marine catenulid flatworms that is associated with intracellular alphaproteobacterial symbionts of the genus Ca. Riegeria. Hosts and symbionts have codiversified of hundreds of millions of years and each host species harbors a host-specific symbiont. This project generated a single worm metagenome from a specimen of Paracatenula sp. standrea from Sant'Andrea bay, Elba Italy.
