Calcium traces from CA1. <br>The experiment duration is roughly 40 minutes. The mouse was head-fixed above a styrofoam wheel and trained to run for reward through virtual reality environments, presented on 3 LCD screens that surrounded the animal. Movement of the animal on the wheel was recorded with a rotatory encoder and lead to corresponding translation through the virtual track.
