France comprises 12 basin districts or basin committees (7 in metropolis and 5 overseas). The administrative territory of each basin is based on communal division, by ministerial decree. Two administrative districts of basins cut the Loiret territory, the Loire-Bretagne Basin and the Seine-Normandie Basin.法国共设12个流域专区或流域委员会，其中7个位于本土，5个设于海外领地。各流域的行政管辖范围以市镇区划为依据，该划分由部级政令确定。有两个流域行政区横跨卢瓦雷省辖域，分别为卢瓦尔-布列塔尼流域区与塞纳-诺曼底流域区。
