Parkes observations for project P863 semester 2016OCTS

In this proposal we request observations from the Parkes radio telescope to survey time variability in the radio emission from a sample of pulsars. The aim is to elucidate different phenomena occurring in the pulsars' magnetospheres. We have chosen a sample of ten pulsars that exhibit various characteristics of the state-changing phenomenon (some are moding pulsars and some are intermittent pulsars). We plan to use the dual-band, multibeam and the H-OH receivers that will provide us with information at widely separated frequency bands.
