Learning Outcomes from Trauma Competence Programs - OsloMet

SHA-8 at the Department of Nursing and Health Promotion at Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet) engages in competence development for working with trauma-exposed individuals, both through master's and continuing education programs, as well as in collaboration with external services. The project "Students' Learning Outcomes from a Course on Trauma and Mental Health Work" (project period 2021-23) has now become an integrated part of SHA-8's ongoing work. The tool used to measure students' learning outcomes, TANDEM, was found valuable in the design and evaluation of our educational offerings and contributes to fulfilling our commitment to researching the effects of our own educational programs. As an autonomous partner in the use of the tool, we also see the potential to apply it in collaboration with external partner services, through research on their competence programs. To address this expanded focus and purpose, the project period is extended to 2030, and the project is now titled "Learning Outcomes from Trauma Competence Programs."
