Single-cell RNA sequencing analysis of peripheral blood mononuclear cells in PD-1-induced renal toxicity in patients with lung cancer

The purpose of the study was to investigate the potential role of the immune system in renal irAEs by analyzing the features of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) from patients with renal irAEs using single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq). Overall design: PBMCs were collected from three patients with renal irAEs induced by anti-PD-1 therapy and three patients without renal irAEs. In order to find cell clusters and differentially expressed genes (DEGs), the PBMCs were submitted to scRNA-seq. KEGG and GO analysis were carried out to investigate the most active biological processes in CD4+ T and CD8+ T cells.
