Future social reality in Europe.<br>Topics: expectations regarding people’s lives in the own country in 20 years’ time; attitude towards the following statements about social reality in 20 years’ time: people will earn less due to competition from rising economies, no guarantee to find good job for well educated people, increasing dependence of success in life from own efforts, better quality of life due to technological progress, more equal opportunities at work for men and women, more equal share of daily tasks at home, higher retirement age, better working conditions, wider gap between rich and poor in the own country, easier access to education, weaker family ties, more difficult to find affordable housing, better understanding between people from different cultures, more involvement of people in political decision making, more social engagement, difficulty to afford medical treatment; attitude towards selected political issues: higher taxes to improve public services, emphasis of policies on quality of life, stronger public support of people in social engagement, social support of caring for elderly and sick people, higher taxes for people without children, more respectful lifestyle with regard to the environment, more independence of social and economic development within the EU from the rest of the world, policies to reduce gap between rich and poor in the own country.
