Lanzhou reach of the Yellow River is contaminated by the refinery wastewater. 16S rRNA sequencing data has showed that strain LZ-C was closely related to Delftia lacustris. LZ-C was isolated from the samples of refinery wastewater. LZ-C was capable of resisting high concentrations of heavy metals. It was also able to resist and reduce Cr(VI). It might be a good candidate for pollutant in refinery waste water remediation. The genome will contribute to our gene pool.
