资源简介:
This file collection consists of the raw values used to quantify total DNA content and the expression of osteogenic markers: ALP, osteocalcin and RUNX2 collected either by absorbance or fluorescence intensity, as well as the fluorescence values used to determine the spacing between peptides as described in the manuscript, "Enhancing the Potency of Growth Factor-Mimicking Peptides via Cross-Presentation With Integrin Ligands."
This collection of data additionally includes the raw image files for RUNX2 expression and representative images of adipogenic differentiation, as well as mechanical testing data for modulus of alginate hydrogels.
This manuscript describes the effect of covalently tethered bone morphogenetic-2 (BMP) mimicking peptide known as the knuckle epitope (KE) and covalently tethered integrin binding cRGD on the expression of runt-related transcription factor 2 (RUNX2), alkaline phosphatase (ALP) production, and osteocalcin (OCN) expression in 3D encapsulated D1 mouse mesenchymal stem cells (MSC). The data show the impact of KE and cRGD concentration and peptide spacing on the expression of these osteogenic markers. Additionally these data demonstrate the measurement of spacing in bivalent hydrogels compared to monovalent hydrogels at different concentrations.
