As a serious complication of type 2 diabetes mellitus, diabetic liver damage has attracted more and more attention. Diabetic liver injury is a kind of diabetic complication caused by abnormal metabolism of diabetes, liver dysfunction and pathological injury of liver tissue. It is the third leading cause of chronic liver disease, next to viral hepatitis and alcoholic liver disease. This study will reveal EDA as a novel therapeutic agent for 2 diabetic liver injury, and further explore the mechanism of EDA on T2DM liver injury on this basis. It can provide a new theoretical basis for the in-depth study of the clinical application of EDA in the treatment of liver injury in type 2 diabetes mellitus.
