Extracted effect size dataset for: Examining the Impact of Habitat Fragmentation on Mammalian Genetic Diversity in Biodiversity Hotspots – A Meta-Analysis
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the extracted genetic diversity metrics used in the meta-analysis examining the effects of habitat fragmentation on mammalian populations across globally recognised biodiversity hotspots. Data were re-extracted from 15 primary studies reporting microsatellite-based genetic diversity estimates for fragmented and continuous (control) mammalian populations. Extracted variables include observed heterozygosity (Ho), expected heterozygosity (He), number of alleles (NA), allelic richness (AR), and inbreeding coefficient (FIS), along with sample sizes, population group assignments (fragmented vs. control), species identity, geographic region, and hotspot designation. Effect sizes (Hedges' g) for each metric were computed using a Hartung–Knapp adjusted random-effects model (REML) as reported in the associated manuscript. This dataset is provided to enable replication of the meta-analytic results during and after peer review.
