A 3D hydrodynamic model was developed for the tidal Mobile Bay system, and was used to study water and salt exchange with the northern Gulf of Mexico via Main Pass and eastern Mississippi Sound via Pass-aux-Herons. This data set contains forcing conditions and model results that can be used to reproduce the results published in Kim and Park (2012, Journal of Marine Systems, 96-97, 103-115).
