资源简介:
For farmers growing in low-productivity soils, traditional agricultural activities are often unprofitable, and the establishment of new forests and meadows can be one of the most efficient ways of using these lands to keep them unused. Such renaturalizations increase the biodiversity of ecosystems through low-intensity agriculture and afforestation, reduce gas emissions and can therefore be seen as positive factors from an environmental point of view. Soil renaturalization research at Voke branch of Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry was started in 1995 and is planned to be carried out for several decades, as the impact of renaturalization on soil is rather slow and this was confirmed both by the data of the first 10 years of research. The aim of the research is to determine the qualitative and quantitative parameters of low-performing agro-ecosystem soil microorganism groups caused by different land use systems.
