Images and report from Historic Building Recording at School Farm, Laxton, Nottinghamshire, November 2024

This collection comprises images and a report from a Level 3 Historic Building Recording at School Farm, Laxton, Nottinghamshire. Work was carried out by York Archaeology in November 2024, in advance of proposed conversion of the historic buildings, as part of a planning condition (planning ref. 21/02354/FUL). School Farm comprises four historic buildings to the rear of the houses fronting onto High Street. The buildings show several phases of construction suggesting that their design evolved over time, rather than being a single phase of planned construction, such as would be seen in a model farm. The farm appears to have originated from 1800 through to the early 20th century.
