资源简介:
This is the first report on the PM2.5-induced circRNA expressions in mouse lung lavage cells. CircRNA emerges as a novel target for diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for a various human diseases, including lung inflammation and injury. Particles 2.5 micrometers in diameter or less (PM2.5) are one of the causative factors of human non-accidental death, particularly the elderly. The primary exposure mechanism of PM is inhalation. When breathed in, PM2.5 leads to various biological effects on different cell types in the lungs, and induces tissue damage and lung inflammation, subsequently triggering or aggravating various lung diseases, including but not limited to asthma, respiratory inflammation, cardiopulmonary problems and lung cancer. We performed a comprehensive profiling of circRNA expressions in the cells collected from the broncho-alveolar lavage fluid (BALF), this data set provides an initial guidance on the potentially impactful circRNAs after PM2.5 exposure. This data can be used for further studies involving circRNA's roles in air pollution-associated health issues.
