Output from NorESM2-LM piControl hosing experiment. An enhanced freshwater input of 0.17Sv was applied to the Weddell Sea and the surrounding area bounded by 60°S, 60°W and 50°E in order to investigate the impact of shutting down convection in the large open-ocean polynya situated north of Weddell Sea on sea surface temperatures.
This dataset was created with the NorESM2 model doi.org/10.5194/gmd-13-6165-2020.
