Chronic heart failure (CHF) and atrial fibrillation (AF) are among the most prevalent cardiovascular disorders in the elderly population. Their coexistence is associated with increased morbidity, frequent hospitalizations, thromboembolic complications, and elevated mortality rates. The bidirectional relationship between CHF and AF contributes to progressive structural remodeling, impaired hemodynamics, and neurohormonal activation.
