Data and code for: Where Importance Meets Decline: Priority Gaps, Lock-in Configurations, and Governance Mismatches in Andalusian Olive and Almond Farming Communities

This deposit contains the dataset and analysis code for the article "Where Importance Meets Decline: Priority Gaps, Lock-in Configurations, and Governance Mismatches in Andalusian Olive and Almond Farming Communities" (Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems, under review). Six farmer groups in two Andalusian territories, the Alpujarra and La Puebla de Cazalla, defined 57 sustainability criteria through a Photovoice process in 2023, ranked their importance, rated the perceived five-year trajectory of each criterion, and mapped the actors and structural forces influencing them. The workbook PhotovoiceResults_lockin.xlsx contains the resulting 225 criterion-group observations and 1,277 actor-influence observations at group level. Two R scripts reproduce all statistical figures of the article and the Spearman rank-tendency correlation reported in Section 3.1. A derived CSV table and a README with the full data dictionary and reproduction instructions complete the deposit. The deposit contains no personal data. Participant photographs and their written interpretations are excluded under participant-negotiated consent agreements. Curated selections are published in two community booklets openly available on Organic Eprints, listed under related works.
