Biggest buy now, pay later (BNPL) apps in Mexico 2015-2023, based on downloads

The app of Mexican credit provider Kueski had nearly twice as many downloads in the country as the app from PayPal. This is according to research into approximately 150 different apps that either offer buy now, pay later directly, or are closely affiliated with it. Kueski provides financial services within Mexico for consumers that are unable to get loans at banks and is widely seen as one of the main upcoming fintech in Latin America. Nelo offers BNPL services via its app, in cooperation with other merchants. Mexicans can use BNPL via the app on services like Netflix, Spotify, or Mercado Libre - the largest e-commerce website in Latin America.
