CAD/CAM/CAE systems market size in Japan 2020-2022

The shipment value of CAD/CAM/CAE systems in Japan amounted to about 409.7 billion Japanese yen in fiscal year 2021. While the source expected the market to reach a value of more than 434 billion yen in fiscal year 2022, it also pointed out that it was difficult to make projections beyond that due to factors such as COVID-19, the increase of energy prices, and the disorder of semiconductor supply chains. It was expected, however, that the rebound of the U.S. market and the depreciation of the yen would lead to an improved business situation of the export-oriented part of the manufacturing industry, which in turn would lead to an increase of domestic investment in CAD/CAM/CAE systems.
