To better understand the demand for power banks among overseas customers across different countries and regions, it is necessary to conduct data analysis on the price elasticity of demand for power banks. All enterprises in the power bank industry can develop their marketing strategies based on the results of this data analysis. If the demand for a product is price elastic, the enterprise can appropriately lower the product price to increase sales and seize market share; if the demand is price inelastic, the enterprise can appropriately raise the product price to improve profit margins. This data holds important reference value for enterprises in this industry when making decisions related to resource allocation and market layout in overseas markets.
1. Data Collection: Collect demand data and price data of power banks in relevant countries and regions, and conduct year-over-year analysis within the system to obtain the changes in product demand and product price.
2. Data Calculation: The price elasticity of demand coefficient Ed can be calculated using the formula: Ed = -(ΔQ/Q) ÷ (ΔP/P). In the formula: Q represents the product demand, with the unit of unit; P represents the product price, denominated in RMB (yuan); ΔQ represents the year-over-year change in product demand, with the unit of unit; ΔP represents the year-over-year change in product price, denominated in RMB (yuan).
